Our task

A US-based team approached us with a mission: to create brand and a website for a network of day centers which provides a variety of specialized programs tailored to meet the unique needs of children and adolescents with autism
Their approach focuses on personalized, long-term developmental programs — licensed, insurance-covered, and accessible to families with limited resources.

The team needed everything from the ground up: naming, branding, web design, assets design, and messaging. Most importantly, they wanted to create something welcoming and fun — for both kids and their caregivers.

Concept and identity

A playful visual language centered around the symbol of a jellyfish
We began with the most widespread image in the autism-related context– puzzle-pieces. Instead of building on it, we introduced the jellyfish — aurelia — as a symbol of softness, diversity, and connection.

This idea shaped both the name and the entire visual identity: versatile forms, playful motion that speaks to both children and parents.

We wanted to emphasise that diversity is excellent. Like a true friend, we bring together children from all walks of life, helping them achieve their goals. Our mascot, Medusa, is a guide and helper who will always support and cheer you up.

After establishing the brand, we designed a website main page and developed it on Webflow

We prepared our identity for scaling—across digital, print, and beyond
From the start, Aurelia needed a visual system that could adapt to different media —from digital platforms to printed materials like merch, educational tools, and more. We developed a comprehensive set of brand assets and a detailed style guide to ensure consistent, easy application across all channels
